MISSION STUDIES 2011
May 23-25, 2011

The Catholic Bishop's Conference of the Philippines has declared the year 2011 as the Year of the Youth in order to heighten awareness about today's youth and promote ministry among them. In line with this, the 2011 Mission Studies Lecture Series of the Maryhill School of Theology focuses on the theme, "Mission to the Youth" from a theological-pastoral perspective. This lecture series aims to: 1) analyze some issues and concerns of the youth from an interdisciplinary perspective; 2) re-examine the challenges from/to the faith tradition; 3) and evaluate various Church responses to the needs of the youth sector.
