WULLERMAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND The FRANS WULLEMAN SCHOLARSHIP FUND began as an initiative of Mrs. Germaine Wulleman, the mother of the late CICM missionary Frans Wulleman. It was her way of honoring the memory of her son who lived, worked and dies as a missionary to the Filipino people. He was involved for many years in the formation of future priests and missionaries. The Fund is intended to assist Filipino diocesan seminarians belonging to Philippine dioceses enrolled at MST when personal, parish and diocesan resources prove inadequate to meet their financial necessities. Presently, the Fund depends completely on the generosity of benefactors and, therefore, can only offer limited financial assistance to deserving applicants. Bishops receive subsidies from the Vatican for the formation of their seminarians. By informing your bishop of your needs, you could avail of the corresponding subsidy. There are also generous people willing to support seminarians in their ministerial preparation. Your parish priest or formator can help you in getting in touch with them. Would these prospective benefactors require a recommendation letter, the MST administration would be most willing to provide one. For evaluation purposes, the Fund requires you to report accurately on your financial situation. Withholding pertinent information will jeopardize your chances of securing financial assistance from the Fund. All information reported in the application form will be considered confidential. The application, however, must be noted and signed by your Rector or Formator. Poor academic performance may cause the cessation of aid from the Fund. Furthermore, major changes in your financial situation during the school year should be reported immediately to the Fund. Applications should be submitted in a sealed envelop and addressed to: The CICM Scholarship Fund c/o The Office of the President Maryhill School of Theology 14th Street corner Gilmore Avenue New Manila, Quezon City |
